  1. Hi Martin, I am aware the battery is an issue on the SC but I've not suffered this as I use a trickle charger if leaving the car garaged for more than a week. This seems to work well. Where on the Costa Blanca are you as I spend a lot of time in Javea.
  2. Thanks Peter, Was i correct in thinking that the Garmin is a standalone model? Does the new Garmin screen fit the space or are there any bits to remove or addins ?
  3. Hi Peter, Just seen your post and think the new Garmin looks great. I am thinking of doing this also but notice that the Garmin model you listed is a stand alone item for windscreen mounting, have i missed something? Do you have any tips on the installation? What model of camera did you use on the number plate? I also love the new dash look, was this hard to get done, is it just a "stick on" sheet that is cut to size?
  4. Thanks Steve, i have changed them for original parts, and the ride is just great now.
  5. Thanks Messi, i thought that might be the case,
  6. Does anyone have any ideas for some replacement rear shocks for my 2007 SC430. I want to keep the ride the same but not pay over £400 for 2 shocks from Lexus
  7. Hi Neil, DAB in my area is far better than FM, but i wanted to listen to stations that were not on FM in my area like LBC. The signal does not drop out and the quality is excellent
  8. Thanks to all, this is one of the great benefits of the forum as i was not aware of this recall. I have called my local Lexus dealer who tells me that mine has been completed back in March before I had the car and no need to worry. I would recommend this method of checking to anyone who has is not sure if its been done or not.
  9. The Pure kit was easy to fit as the centre stack comes out quite easily, you tube has some good demo's. I mounted the control unit next to the drivers door pillar, its not in your line of sight and looks neat as all the wires can be hidden. Good luck
  10. I have just fitted a Pure DAB kit to mine as i wanted DAB radio and the ability to play all my iTunes through the car system. The benefit of this kit is that it provides a USB and an Aux socket as part of the kit. This is the second one of these that I have fitted, the other to my wife's CRV, and the reception is excellent, no drop out, but make sure you buy a "powered" aerial that sticks to the inside of the windscreen. PURE Highway 300Di - In-car DAB digital radio and audio adaptor The link above takes you to Amazon and I brought the one for £74 as its new but in an opened box, not the one for £142
