  1. I have heard that. There are sellers on eBay that describe their keys as having been erased and ready for programming. I don't know if that is the answer ??
  2. Thanks. I will bear them in mind for the future.
  3. Hoo Raarrr. Found 1 key. The youngest had put it inside his reading book and walked in this morning and said 'Dad is this yours?' , holding the key aloft. I didn't know whether to kiss him or send him to the workhouse !! Will get another key sorted this week, incase he wants to hide it again....
  4. Hi. Do you know what caused the warning to go off, as in what sensors detected it? I have had it come on with mine, after a very minor front nearside corner toucher. It cracked the bumper around the headlight washer causing the washer to fall inside the bumper. The bonnet did not explode on me! Just the warning 'pop-up hood ' I haven't looked into it yet but hopefully it is just a reset or a new sensor as I believe it is mounted next to the headlamp washer. Will Techstream reset it, as I have just ordered a tech stream module?
  5. Thanks for the comments. I will try the locksmith in Stourbridge, will try and find the name on yell. I have not given up completely on finding at least one of my keys. Will give it another week then take the plunge and spend not a small amount getting it sorted. So for the Techstream, any of the eBay hardware should be ok? Just got to find the latest software on the net?
  6. That does look like a worthwhile thing to have. Do you have the seller details on eBay as I want to get one that works...
  7. Hi. Can anyone recommend an eBay seller of aTechstream for a 2015 IS300H. A link would be good to a seller who someone has used and sells working stuff... Thanks.
  8. Do you know where this immobiliser unit is? May need to update that too.
  9. The problem with that is that you need a key to start with as you need to put the ignition on. Creating a second key would not be a problem. I need to get the first key, as I have none at present and therefore cannot put the ignition on etc.
  10. Can they do it for the Lexus though? I know that is quite common with BMW's.
  11. As the one and only key to my 2015 IS300H is now lost ( I know, I know ! ), what is the procedure for getting a replacement? The key blade is fine as Lexus will order me one off the chassis number for £45, but they are scratching their head over if it is possible to get a replacement fob to work.. They are talking of a new immobiliser ECU ( wherever that is) and then reprogramming it to the car and the new keys. Sounds very expensive ! Has anyone ever come across this before and have any info for me. Thanks.
