If you sign up for detailing world and ask the question there you will definitely get your answer. Many of the guys have brought the simple Ebay ones and have been happy with them. They are a handy thing to have but I have not got one yet. Depends on what you are aiming to get done or do regarding polishing or compounding and to what degree. I'd be surprised if the water pump hasn't been done already as they have about 10 years in them before they go, if not it probably wont be long until you hear it if it's not been done. They are a fixed price at Lexus and it's worth going there to get it done. To my knowledge you get new coolant added at the same time. Spark plugs to be honest I wouldnt bother with they will be fine and it's a big expense to get them done. I would however look at the brake calipers on these as they are a known issue and seize up. The slide pins need regular greasing and Lexus dont do it. Simple to do yourself though or a trusted mechanic. You should get many more miles of motoring out of it they are fantastic cars. Give some of this a go on the tyres prior to application. Cleans the rubber superbly and gives you a good clean base to work on. Might need a couple of hits but it's very good, you wont believe the muck it pulls out. Sent from my SM-A505FN using Tapatalk
