  1. To test the sensor, put it in reverse with ignition on, put your ear next to the sensor on the bumper if you can her it clicking its working. If not its not. If its not working try warming it with a hair dryer, if any water has got in it will dry it out. It did on this <------------- As for having the standard beep when in reverse and then the extra beep with sensors, it seems bonkers to me - I would have one disconnected. As far the light, I also think the wire to the parcel shelf light will have been re routed to the spoiler. You just need to split it and connect it back up. Although when I had mine it was very bright at the back with all the brake lights on so I disconnected the spoiler light rather than the parcel shelf one.
  2. yeah and BMW ones A kid up our street took mine, but my lad saw him. 10 minutes later his old man was shouting at me as I was taking two off his bike, 3 minutes later the other 2 came out of his pocket much to the embarrasment of his dad :winky: one back for us car owners two weeks later they'd gone again . little b******d
  3. is it when braking during a slow manouvre? could be a stuck caliper, had it a few times on mine, just needed freeing up........ till next time... recurring....
  4. Make sure you have kept them clean though so they dont have any excuse to blame you
  5. How u guess wont b makeing that mistake again :duh: 1. Use mole grips. will probably knack the thread on the valve but at least you will be able to get air in. and plastic caps will probably cut their own thread in the plastic if you put plastic back on. 2. alternatively if the lock screw is accessesable - drill them ... carefully 3. or hacksaw across the top and try to spread them open if you can
  6. Saturday - 1.15PM First one (of the few made) that I have seen. Most yellow cars look a bit tacky to me, but this actually looked great.
  7. I use luke warm I heard to hot and it takes off the wax. My wheels take longer than the car (1hr +) so first I also wash and rinse each panel then "chamois" it, but not with a chamois I use a microfibre cloth. Then start on the wheels
  8. Its good but not as good as Supernatural or Heroes
  9. Actually a mate bought an Audi S5 recently and it is just awesome, and the sound
  10. No it doesn't If your restricting the clutch returning to its normal position then that would be like riding the clutch surely ?!!! Maybe he's just after your £450 when the clutch is worn out Mine squeaked when pressing the pedal and it was a dry bushing somewhere underneath I am sure. Its a few years ago now but I am sure I sprayed dry lube on it to cure it. Try doing a search for "squeeky and clutch" Get that clamp thing looked into !!
  11. check this thread ( clonking threads)out - and the others in it bit of a nostalgic moment for me going through my posts to find this thread
  12. My mate did mine for £ 50 Theres been a company doing "home" paint jobs in an unused carpark next to our place. Looks ok, they turn up a van, erect a big tent then repair and paint cars under it. Seem to do bumbers mainly. Bit odd really but probably cheap as low overheads.
  13. Looking at getting an IS220D SE for a new sales man. Will be getting a contract hire car Any one had a good experience and more importantly a good deal that they would recomend the supplier.
  14. dont get a 330 , thought my IS was bad but this is ridiculous, I blocked the street last night, an RX had to mount the pavement to get past me.
