  1. I had a Nav-tv module fitted to the car before on the GS... but have now taken it out as i just wanted tunes in the car and no ps2, as i never used it... if anyone wants to buy it of me then pm me... cheers.
  2. Yes i had to keep the origional unit, cos of the sat nav climate etc... i have integrated the ipod through the Massive Flatline... I can still use the cd changer, radio, and have the added bonus of the ipod... i have also put another battery in the boot, for some extra power.... it sounds sweet!! will post up a video of it all working shortly..
  3. For aftermarket you should be looking in the region of £170.00 - £210.00 depening on if you want them colour coded or not. Much cheaper than main dealer ones!!
  4. my series 2 sport has 80k on the clock and apart from replacing ball joints, aint had any problems in 6 years!! top reliability..... compared to other Jap brands and especially the German counterparts.... my bro just bought a brand new audi S5 and that went back to main dealer after a week, crap electrics!!
  5. it is pain, but it's worth it when it's done..... running fresh speaker wires through the doors was pretty easy though, well easier than some cars i have done!!
  6. yes the flatline converts speaker inputs to rca out, and is also built in ipod connection and 9 volt line driver.... we have used similar products in high end cars such as Porsche and mercs etc. Standard look with aftermarket system.... I have now had the oem Amplifier out, i think i have sussed the wiring of the factory unit.... on more of the popular brand of cars you can buy of the shelf wiring for uprating the standard system.... not on the GS though! we'll get there in the end!!
  7. front A-pillars completed and fitted: Sealed 0.6 cu ft box fitted for 8" Alphasonik sub firing through the centre arm rest: Twin single chamber 2.8 cu ft ported to 35hz.. forming part of the boot build... Next on the list wiring the headunit up to the Massive audio Flatline....
  8. got a pic of what it looks like at the moment? on my mk2 and customfitted the mesh to the origional grill... maybe possible with yours.
  9. roll the arches means pulling them out, which can be tricky as it may crack the paint therefore repainting req... if you stick with the 8.5x19 and use some 5mm spacers to bring the wheel out that would work... as i have 8.5 x 20 on mine et35 with 5mm spacers.
  10. looks like a problem car... get your money back or exchange it for a different one
  11. front will be fine - but an offset of ET45 would be req for the rear 9.5x19" rims, or roll the arches
