  1. Hello all, Looking to put original radio back into my 430. P/O fitted this lot and while it works the user interface and overall look of the things doesn't appeal to me. Make me a sensible offer considering all of this kit new would cost over £800 Or if you have the original ML Radio/CD changer, fascia (CD cover, switch backing and cubby hole) I'd consider a straight swap, mine is an '01 premium pack with ML and nav
  2. Hiya! I'm replacing my head unit and have been told there are 2 different types of connectors on the loom available, I cant get the connector out the back of my amp to see which it needs..... any tips on how to get it out? or find out which I need so I can get it ordered?
  3. hi there, does anyone have a stereo wiring diagram for a 2004 is200 se, i have removed the headunit and it only has 1 plug into the headunit as my older one had 2 plugs, I am trying to find out which wires is the canbus tx+ and tx- wiring, hope thats right its the wires that communicate with the other electronics in the car, on my older is200 it was the second plug with only 2 wires in it coloured pink with grey bits and a red with blue stripe but cant match these to any of the wires that plug into my newer spec headunit, I hope someone here can help as I really need to find them. any help much appriciated
  4. Please help!!! I have just bought my first Lexus (1999 IS200 sport). She is in mint condition, everything is wonderful, the only thing is the last owner changed the headunit for an aftermarket one, I bought the car with the original stereo fitted in place but not connected, "all you need to do is slide out the stereo and plug the multi plug in i think" I removed the stereo and to my horror discovered that the plug was butchered so close i cant easily see which wires goin which plug and and at what pin!!! Please can someone advise me where all the wires go in the plug and better still could someone with an identical car send me a picture of the fully wired plugs so that i can get out the soldering iron and fix it up, I have managed to connect it all to a fashion, radio and mirrors are working as is the illumination but, the CD player isnt and it would seem it is drain the battery like near is so tomorrow. Please please please help me.

  6. Hi, Sorry if this has been asked before, I tried searching but couldn't find the answer, How many wires should there be going into the larger of the 2 plugs that fit into the back of the original stereo/ Headunit? I have an aftermarket stereo fitted at the moment ( bought it like that) But want to fit the original back in, I have found and disconnected the amp bypass cable and reconnected it to the amp, But I am still not getting any display on the radio although the cd sounds like it is powered, I only have two wires going to the larger plug but the smaller is fully populated. Thanks in advance, Sorry it's so long :)
