claysimo posted a topic in Lexus IS200 / Lexus IS300 ClubI have been searching everywhere to find some information about wiring these Lexus IS300 seats. I am putting them into an older vehicle and will have to be creating the wiring from scratch. I have no need for the seat belt sensor, seat air bags, or the memory functions. There are 10 wires on one harness and 2 wires on another harness leaving the drivers seat that go to the car. so far I have identified that the two wires on the second harness (yellow-red, yellow-grn) are for the airbags. The 10 wires coming out of the other harness include a larger white-black and larger blue-white wire, and smaller brown, black-red, black-blue, white-green, blue-yellow, blue-orange, white-red, black-yellow wires. The black-yellow appears to be the wire going to the seat heater buttons. Does anyone have any clue how I could wire these to get the seat power working??
Can anyone help me, my Lexus is running pretty well but lately I have been loosing power, car can be running fine all day then suddenly I have no power, no revs, I turn the car off, start it up again immediately and it's runs ok again, I think I may have little smoke from the engine. . .any ideas please ??
Hi All, I had my catalystic convertor replaced in February by Lexus for my 2006 IS220D, they also flushed my injectors at this time. The guy in the garage did say that in the future I may need my turbo replacing but was not an immediate job. Over the past 4 weeks I have been getting a juggering when quickly building up speed (i had this before the injectors were flushed) its not happened since February but then last night I was building up spped form trafic lights and then my power just disminished.... now in 2nd gear it takes a prolongeed period of time to get up to 30, its managable on normal roads but I could not take this on a motorway for instance. There are no management lights ..... Does this sound like a new turbo? (as I was quoted £3k from Lexus) but surley if the turbo is bust I would get a management light and I would had seen smoke etc ?? or do you think its the injectors? .... any help you can give is very valuable.... Thanks, Paul.
