After long last, I've finally ordered new front upper wishbones & lower suspension arms.(both sides)

Just a quick question of: Are they easy enough to change your self or are specialist tools required to change them?

Thanks in advance for answers. :)

There is a an archive in the forum related to the upper arm replacement which I submitted 10 years ago ,You will save a whole lot of time if you follow the instructions.Last time I looked it had been hit around 8000 times and I believe is used by Lexus dealerships as against the workshop manual instructions. The lower arms are straight forward remove and replace but you will need some heavy duty pry bars and preferably an impact driver.

Also take a look at the following link with a good reference to both jobs, whee it mentions removing the springs and dampers to remove the upper control arms you will find this can be done without removal by placing a scissor jack under the hub and jacking up to allow the bolts to be removed between the coils of the spring.

Thanks for the links! Going to need that in the near future so saved me asking here for info!

Sadly though, I've booked it in to a local garage thanks to just not having the free time and the dodgy weather we've had when I do have the time.

The good news is least it'll be one less worry for when on holiday, but a bit annoyed I've not been able to do it myself.
