It does, but someone else is enjoying that :)

I got so annoyed with the Mark Levinson stereo in there that I got rid. Wasn't prepared to pay several 100's of £ for a new ML amp.

I bought the 430 for £2300 and ended up swapping it for a Nissan Skyline R33 2.5 Turbo with 350Bhp. Never intended to keep the Skyline so put it up for sale straight away. Sold for £3500 so all good :)

A/C fixed - Just topped it up with a can from Halfrauds and voila - ICE cold air :)

I did have to replace a brake light bulb! How dare they fail after only 25 years of service!!!

Jammy sod! Still jealous

The Japanese still worship the Skyline. It has a real cult following in Japan

That's the one. You get a tenner back when you hand in the empty can

So £30 net, & it may all vanish in a few days due to the lack of a leak test.

I could not bring myself to risk the funds when for similar money the problem could be solved, &

one would have something to show for the expense

......... dammit, where are they? This is not good enough! Wee are being under represented here ........http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f103/tartan-seat-covers-34641/

Ahh: http://www.me-mo.co.uk/images/web_blue%20boucle%20front.jpg

Edit to explain: I never stayed overheated driving around southern europe in the summer until I had a car with leather seats. Cloth is the solution!

I use those bamboo bobble things you see taxi drivers using. Though I used to use Moroccan carpet/camel bags. (And a goat bell under the bonnet which bemused my mechanic friends - it's a beast of burden !)

Those old enough will recall that Japanese cars always had Velour seats for this reason (?). It's only that the USA think leather is 'the thing' for luxury cars.

Must be the trace memory of their ancestors who shot nearly ALL the buffalo on the plains-from 60 million estimated buffalo to about 1000 in 30 years. Eat them? No, just shot them, (For 'sport' or just ...because they weren't white? (-: ) ground up the bones for fertiliser!

Rudy, I was in stereotypical Dr. Finlay Scottish thrift mode. Apologies if the attempt at wit failed.

However, (& an loc member will, quite rightly, not approve as an A/C specialist is the best route): http://m.groupon.co.uk/deals/aberdeen/ats-euromaster/65285055
