Bluetooth Problems New Ls430

Hello -

I have a new LS430 and a Sony/Eric P800. I can get the Sony to bond with the Lexus but I can't get the Lexus to recognize the Sony or even realize that there is a phone in the car. What settings should I have on the phone? And what am I doing wrong?

Unfortunately, I think you will be disappointed by the both Sony

Ericsson. Sony Ericsson does not include HandsFreeProfile in

P800 and P900. I recently contacted the Sony Ericsson Helpdesk, who stated that their is no possibility for upgrading for HFP on P800. Still waiting for answer

regarding P900, but I don't think their will be an update.

The best source for information about handsets is the Official

Bluetooth qualification website. http://qualweb.bluetooth.org

Here is an official list of all approved Blueooth devices and

supported profiles.

Please look for HANDSFREE PROFILE. Phones having this profile work

with the Prius (most of the time.......)6310i (with SW V5.22 and

higher), T68i, S55, 3650, 8910i etc.
