If I remember correctly..the logo has little sprues that go through the back plate which then end in fattened blobs on the rear to hold tight.

I've heard of people either melting the blob with a soldering iron or scraping them off with a flat blade screwdriver or (very carefully) with a wood chisel (if you are handy with a wood chisel).

Once off you can paint the back plate but you will then need to bond the logo back in place.

Well nornski2 i got plastic tool under emblem only broke one clip, 5 holes in the cap only 2 are used. Think i will use some strong clear glue when i refit the emblems.

Alredy wet and dried them with 1200 paper down to primer. Weathers not to good where we are, so will wait till it picks up a bit.
