Is200 Sport Radio/cd 86120-53090

Can anyone advise if these units had security codes and if so how do you recover? It is from my recently written off car :(. I still have VIN number.

Any advice would be appreciated.

No security codes on any of the IS200 head units.

Thank you for your response. I have recently sold the head unit and the purchaser is saying it is asking for a 4 digit code?

Just to make sure I wasn't making it up I searched the forums and everybody has always stated the head units do not have a security code - and that has never been challenged.

I'm sure Lexus haven't used security codes since the mid 90's. My old IS200 sport certainly never asked for a security code even after the Battery was disconnected.

Thanks. I've asked him to send a picture of what it is asking for. It was from a 52 plate vehicle. The top loading (cassette below) 6 disc changer. Unfortunately the manual went with the car.
