Is220d Auto?

On site shpock there is an is220d auto very unusual thought didn't do auto only manual it's 2006 checked with reg no its showing manual is220d is it possible to do conversation from manual to automatic something is fishy about car it's had full respray aswell it's got 91700k on clock

Nope the 220d was manual only.

Did put question and she replied saying person before her had it changed from manual to auto must be same as is250 box if it cost effective should b more auto is220d better then notchy manual gearbox

Probably a IS250 that's been listed as a 220d by mistake. The ad mentions that it's a petrol a couple of times, plus it has the correct PWR ECT SNOW button on dash. Although I guess that could've been changed too if it has indeed had a tranny swap.

Checked reg no its definitely showing is220d 2006 number plate swap perhaps

Done valuation on autotrader it's worth 3,200 when she got it on for 4,200 it's is220d may 2006

Another unusual thing found out check Road tax it's expired 1/10/15 and it's showing petrol on road tax checker unless it's been changed to is250 complete engine and box something is dodgy about car unless it was total loss some 1 rebuilt it

Found the same car on gumtree. Photos show it is clearly an IS250 - although it has been debadged.

It has the IS250 bumper with dual exhaust cutouts, IS250 instrument cluster (which is different to the IS220d) and IS250 air conditioning (again different from the IS220d).

I'm guessing that the dealer put the wrong model number on the V5 when registering it with DVLA. My IS250 has the wrong trim level on the V5 which always causes huge problems with insurance as they keep putting the wrong trim on the policy, and I keep trying to tell them it is wrong, but they won't accept it.
