Hi all,

I have just purchased my 1st Lexus and already i have a problem which i thought would be an easy fix. The eml light is on and traction control light is flashing. I had the codes read and it is coming up with P0105. I was told to change the MAP sensor which i was told is on the throttle body. I changed the throttle body and i still have the same fault, still in limp mode and doesn't idle very well. With the engine running the throttle body where the accelerator cable is is making a clicking sound. I have no idea where to look next, has anybody else had the same problem? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Carl

The MAP sensor isn't part of the throttle body. It is located next to the throttle body on the right hand side of the intake manifold and has a short pipe connecting to the manifold where it gets the pressure reading from. You should be able to see/replace it by just removing the intake and air filter assembly.
