​Only had my Lexus IS300h for a month. Had to drive my daughter's Citroën C2 at the weekend. Pulled away and a short distance later, approaching a junction, gently applied the brakes... and the car started juddering!

Clutch! Oops.

Forgotten how terribly complicated driving used to be. :driving:

I have always preferred a manual gearbox (owned 3 automatics) but with the LS400 the auto is lovely. Larger engine capacity seems to suit auto boxes more in my opinion. They are easier to reverse and to use in heavy, slow moving traffic - no clutch to replace. I only miss the engine braking you get with a manual.

the auto box with manual mode gives you that feature now too :)
