Recently I've noticed that when braking lightly I get a rubbing/knocking sound from the rear of the car. It doesn't happen all the time and seems to happen more often when I carry passengers? It's been into my local garage and apart from the parking brakes needing a good clean out everything looked hunky dory. I be taking it out tomorrow so hopefully it will be back to its normal self. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Problem now seems to be ressolved. My local mechanic stripped both rear brakes and found that the parking brakes were well crudded up. After a thorough clean up and rebuild all seems well for the bargain price of £60. I|t seems a full Lexus service history isn't all it seems as he recond they have never been touched before. I know the discs are the originals because I replaced the pads two years ago. So smooth and silent breaking restored.
