In-Car Phone Call Volume is Too Loud

Hi

Recently my CT200h has developed the unusual symptom of pumping out all my phone calls with deafening loudness.  I make calls with my Samsung Note 5 connected via Bluetooth.  Until recently it's been fine but now all incoming and outgoing calls are so loud it's become painful.  I even set my phone to silent and have all the volume settings to silent but the speakers still pump out max volume.  I know I should really try it with another phone but it took me ages to connect any phone to the car that I don't dare risk it incase i manage to disconnect my one.  I can pump out music and video and satnav audio via Bluetooth at normal volume.  It's just the phone calls that are way too loud.

Has anyone experienced this?

The Ct200h is a 2013 plate and does not have inbuilt satnav.

Found the problem.  Not sure of the cause but ... when making a call on Bluetooth, the call volume seems to be only controlled by the steering wheel's volume buttons.  I've been twiddling the main console's volume buttons with no effect. Don't know if that's an issue with my Android Samsung Note 5 as I reckon the CT is optimised for apple phones.

I tested this out today. Using the volume buttons on the steering wheel worked for me too. Thanks for the info.
