Cold air from heater near side.

I am posting here on behalf of my husband who has an elderly IS200 which has a fair few miles on the clock!  The heating system has been playing up and warm air is only being blown out on the driver's side of the car.  Which means my feet as a passenger are getting pretty cold!!! He has performed a 'reverse flush' three times now and although it is a little warmer it has not completely resolved the issue.  Any suggestions of what to put into the matrix to flush it through?  I was thinking dishwasher cleaner...... Otherwise it's fully insulated boots and duvet coat for me for the rest of winter! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

Hi

This thread (page 4) suggests a solution that seems to have worked.

And something similar here

It seems to be blocked matrix pipes.
