New Black ISF in Scotland

Recommended Posts

So this last weekend I picked up the ISF from a friend.

Basics are black with black, with valved cat back. Currently ticking over the 55k mark.

Some photos for perusal...

If you look at my other thread, it's currently stuck in my garage due to DVLA / weekend / public holiday leading to inability to tax the car. I'll be on the phone at 0800 tomorrow, rest assured, as I need to give my wife her car back and be at work. So, I took the opportunity to give it a bit of a clean.

And add a sticker..

Then there were some (GibletPH being one) who wanted some photos of the exhaust. I don't have the name of the garage / fabricator to hand, but could get it I'm sure. So here are the photos.

And all together on the car...

Thanks for the pics. The exhaust was done by Originiall Fabrications. I was given the contact details by the previous owner of your F but I've decided to go with someone closer to home for my own exhaust.

The car looks nicer with both the grill and the chrome around the windows painted in black. I'm planning on doing the same to mine at sone point. Interesting placement of the smiley, I have a few gunmetal ones but can't decide on where to put them. The towing eye covers on the rears are one of the options.

Enjoy it in good health chap.

While I can't claim anything other than current ownership of the exhaust, I agree with your comment over the workmanship.

As for the garage, where the car is parked is mine and eminently usable. Where the exhaust pieces are pictured, no idea.

Mind you, my last garage was better....

Complete with office space above.

All gone now :(

I'll confirm what previous owner told me when I get it up and running. He suggested a bit of drone at motorway speeds, so closes the valve if it gets too much. In town, its valve open all the time :)

Valve open in town? Bet that sounds fun in tunnels!

Funnily enough, the exhaust on this one is not as brutal as the Stage 3 I had on my 2014 Lotus Elise S. That one was non-valved, about 2ft long and popped / banged / gargled at will all the time. This one is positively sedate by comparison!!

When I get a moment, I'll head out (subject to torrential rain not blowing in) and get a better video of the exhaust.
