i took my LS400 1990 there yday, with a failing rpm needle, black display for climate control, and fading display for rds. it seems that most likely it's the psu behind the instrument cluster, but if the climate control is black, then it still won't work even if the psu is repaired. i'm booked to go back once the climate control lcd screen issue is resolved. you can get them thro:

there's also jim walker in USA, but i believe his lcd screen is only for LHD cars (the display is handed).
