What to do with this?

Hi all,

Please give me some suggestions what I should do with this mark on the lid.

 

I really wouldn't want to take the centre console out for replacing the whole thing.

If that's a chip out of the top surface, I don't think there's much you can do. It would need filling, sanding and painting to repair the damage.

Easiest thing to do would be to look out for a replacement centre console from a breakers. It is fairly simple to swap out.

they're off a different model (heated seats) but the cup holder/lid looks like it should transfer quite easily

Thanks for the reply.

It is just the paint/coating that is wiped off.

It was just a little drip of aftershave !

You can not feel any thing. As the paint is so very thin.
