Help a girl out with my AC

Recommended Posts

Okay, so my Lexis is200 from 2001, is blowing warm air instead of cold air. When we first got the car we tried recharged it because we had the same issue and my husband says that we couldn't get any coolant in it because there was too much pressure. What is my next step, this is going on our 3rd with no AC, the heater works just fine, but the air doesn't get cold.

Hello Taylr and welcome to the LOC.

As above take it to have the AC checked out, places like Kwik Fit usually offer a free check but don't feel obliged to have any work done there, once you know what the problem is buy yhe parts yourself then have them fitted.

A common cause is the condenser which is mounted in front of the radiator so subject to damage from stones and weather corrosion.
