Ct200h harsh ride

My ct200h is on 17 inch wheels. Would going to 16inch wheels give me a softer ride.

Yes it would as the 16" tyre profile would be higher.

Is yours a sports version of the CT? When I had one a couple of times for a loan car from Lexus, the ride always seemed pretty good to me.

Yes. The ride would be improved by 16" wheels. 

The CT has a harsh ride compared to some cars in general though and it's probably the harshest riding Lexus bar the F models

Test drove a ct200h yesterday on 17's.  Did not find the ride overly firm, have owned bmw's with msport suspension and they were bone shaking in comparison. I do think it's been over stated by the press.

Apparently the 2014 facelift ride is better. They added more spot welds to stiffen the chassis, allowing for the suspension to be made a little softer.

I've never found mine to be too hard, comfier than my Suzuki Swift Sport over rough ground :-)

Totally agree Colin. It is better than the Suzuki. Mine Swift Sport was too harsh. It's good to know they've revised it a bit.
