Hi,

Has anyone on here chipped their GS? I'm not really thinking of doing it as it really is fast enough, I just wondered if it had ever been done and how successful it was and how much more power it gave.

I put a Lindop chip on my wife's Rav4 taking it from 150bhp to 180bhp but more importantly, a more usable torque range.

Mine is a 2002 GS300 SE

Thanks

Bod

You can try it but its a naturally aspirated engine so you'll get maybe a maximum of 10hp. I presume the rav4 was a turbocharged diesel?

No change to the insurance Roy, they just called it an accepted modification as I told them it was a Toyota mod. This is true in a loose way as the chip is designed and produced be someone at Lindop Toyota in Swindon.

You are correct rayaans, it's fitted to a Rav 2.2 TD Invincible.

So no point in chipping a GS really. Thought as much.
