Gear stick moved after clutch change

Hi

I have recently had my clutch replaced and when i got the car back the gear stick is more to the left. When selecting reverse now the gear stick hits the hand break. It seems like 3rd gear is where 1st should be. Any idea what this could be would be greatly appreciated.

Either the transmission has not been put back correctly aligned ( check mountings of looseness or damage) or the gear selector linkage is misaligned.

I would take it back to the garage who did the work and asked them to check.
