East Mids members - who do you use for servicing, parts etc.

Hi East Mids members (and South Yorks and West Mids members).  Happy New Year

I haven't had my RX serviced yet but just wondered who people use.  I'm based in Nottingham but happy to travel a bit further afield for either Lexus dealer or independent.  If anybody has any experience (good or bad) I'd love to hear.  Plus if you've managed to get discounts on service or extended warranty packages I'd be very interested.

I've had and read a couple of good comments re Lexus Lincoln and Birmingham and a not very good about Lexus Stoke but nothing about any of the other dealerships (Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Sheffield, Coventry)

I use Lexus Derby for spare parts only, I get around a 10% discount on spares but sometimes more if I haggle.

Staff all friendly with the usual coffee and snacks when waiting in reception, plenty of parking on site.

Lexus Birmingham list some spares and accessories for the older models on eBay usually with decent discounts.

Thanks.  Who do you use for servicing?  I've also used Lexus Birmingham for parts; excellent service and price. I'm assuming as I've only had one reply that there aren't many Lexus owners in the East Mids on the forum.  Am I right with that assumption?

We're a bit thin on the ground around here.

I do all my own servicing so don't use dealers, the only time my LS sees a garage is once a year for an MOT.

I prefer OEM parts so that's why I use Lexus Derby but with my low annual mileage being < 3000 this is now an annual trip for filters etc.

Thanks Steve.  Looks like thin on the ground means two!  I wonder where the people who buy from the East Mids dealers live?  Or maybe they don't join the forum, which is a shame as I'm sure there's lots of useful info about Lexus support in the East Mids out there

from northamptonshire myself, and have used lexus birmingham for genuine parts who i found to be very helpful and gave me a very good price on the things i needed.

i do all the servicing and repairs myself so cant comment on that side of things
