The next thing you know they'll be calling MEP's human and giving them legal status.  I wonder if my dog will ever get legal status, I need to be nicer to her, give her longer walks...just in case...

Until they can demonstrate robots are self-determinating, that is modifying their behaviour beyond that expected from their programming, then surely the persons programming them should be held responsible?

Next step is to have robots parade and give them rights to adopt... sounds familiar?! I don't mind being adopted by Tesla P100D though.
