I dug my tool kit out today and fitted the apexi and some spacers on the front wheels.

It was dead easy to do the filter, done in about 5 minutes. Only went for a quick drive after but it sounds really nice, not crazy loud just a smooth roar. Although it has a job to be heard over my exhaust! Couldn't feel any performance difference and it's unlikely that I will but I'll let you know if I do.

The old induction system is a bit weird 😕. The tube looks like aluminium but painted black, anyone recognise it? The filter element was rusty! Never seen that before 😩

That's because they never oiled it I did say last night before the Guinness bottles attacked me 😂

Looks good filter is 'F' blue as well 😏

Smart move to do the filter, especially if it's starting to rust. Looks good, nice job.
