auto close of windows and roof

Hi all i am after advice please , my ls 430 used to close the windows and roof if lock on the fob was held for a few seconds , now the fob will fully open all windows and roof but will not close them.

I have had the Battery disconnected a few times ,once for replacement,(think the cold got at it) and once to fit ghost door lights , 

Is there a sequence of button pressing which will reinstate this function?

mine 2004 does same. opens but wont close...no idea why.

It might need a reset of the auto Close function. Try holding the close buttons on the windows for 5 secs after fully closing.

It does need a reset. I did once on an ls430 and Gs300 mk3, but I cant remember how I did it.

As Steven says, with the window shut open it but keep your finger on the button for it's entire way down, when it's down hold your finger on the button for a further 5-10 secs, you must keep your finger on the switch for the entire time... then do the same for the up... do it separately for all windows and the sunroof....
