LED interior lights

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Just an FYI really, I've just replaced my interior dome lights for white LED's and it's a massive improvement on the dull yellow ones!

Found these and you'll have loads spare, only took a few a few minutes to swap.....

cheers, Ben

Looks good I've put them in the cab of my van and load space, Transits don't have posh electrics to upset.

Thete is a thread running on one of the other forums on here that they are problematic.

No issues at all, only if you start messing with the exterior lights you'll get bulb lights on the dash.

That's good news, get blinded enough as it is from Peugeot 306's and the like with there 'upgraded' blue huey bulbs, looks like a frickin Flak Battery and search light unit advancing towards you 😂

LED's make a massive difference IMO.  Precision LED in the US do an upgrade kit for most of the interior & exterior bulbs on the car at http://www.precisionled.com/lexus-is-f-premium-led-interior-lights-kits-2007-2013.html  Biggest difference was the LED reversing lights.  @Peter P18 bought a load of kits back from the US a couple of years ago but I suspect you can source all the bulbs from the UK now.

They don't dim as well as a normal bulb does, however they do dim, just not as smoothly. You only notice if you actually watch the lights as you get in and out of the car, which generally you won't 😀 For £8 it got to be worth a try!
