Hi there

Anyone know if the brake assist can be applied permanently. I use it all the time but find it a PITA to have to switch it on every time I start the car.

Any response appreciated.

Are you sure you mean Brake assist ? As far I'm aware it is always on like abs and you can't easy switch it off.

maybe you mean PCS but this one should be also on by default at least it was in my previous honda were it was called cmbs.

HI there

Maybe got the terminology wrong, that's what it was called on my previous Audi. It's the switch on the dash ,on the left of the column that keeps the brakes on when you stop, on a hill etc displaying "Hold".

You need to switch this on every time you start the car. My question is, is there a way to have it on permanently???

When I purchased my 2016 GS 300h six months ago the Lexus salesman said this was always the case, and the one thing he didn't like about the brake hold feature. I.e. you must turn it on every time. There is no setting to ensure it always works automatically.
