A sad warning too all car modifyers.

A faulty or missing exhaust gasket allowing fumes to be released under bonnet, which then made their way via bonnet vents to the cabin air vents.

A combination of situations (cold night, parked car with engine running and a faulty/missing gasket) leading to a very sad event.

It's perhaps a bit dramatic to say it's because he modified the car (bonnet vents and CAT delete) more that the exhaust wasn't correctly reassembled?

Very sad, but as Peter has pointed out this wasn't because the car was modified, it happened because unfortunately it wasn't correctly put back together after being modified, two very different things.

The point I put the news item up there was to show that if you are going to modify your car make sure it is done 100% correct because if it isn't the price they paid is far to high.
