Using Torque Pro on ISF

Recommended Posts

Got torque Pro for the car, anyone running it and does anyone have any tips.  Managed to get most of the parameters showing, does the ISF have an oil pressure sensor rather than switch???

Anyone programmed it?

Cheers in advance

Yes I've used it in the past and didn't really like it TBH.

All I remember is I needed to buy an android phone to get it working.

I'm now using Techstream with a laptop instead which gives me much better access to everything (program has bugs but still works for data logging and clearing codes)

It can come in handy to quickly scan/clear error codes.

I've been tempted to get it running and provide me with a rev counter but I'm gradually 'adjusting' to the kW meter.  Our old Aygo didn't have a rev counter either and the Torque app gave me something to look at whilst growling along

For Android phones a cheap BT OBD gadget works fine but if you've an Iphone then you'll need a WiFi OBD gizmo.

You guys are right.  It's an OBD reader app and diagnostic tool that can be used for a lot of different things, data logging, clearing codes, fault finding and sensor outputs.

I've always liked having a water temp and oil temp gauge that i can trust (with actual numbers) and since the GTR, felt oil pressure is important too, something the ISF doesn't have.

In total, including the Bluetooth adaptor for the OBD port, it cost me £6.

Give it a go, it's not bad at all for the price!
