Lexus is250 Wing mirror woes

Recommended Posts

I have a 2006 IS250 and I smashed my passenger (left) side wing mirror. The outer casing has a crack and there's bits of the motor missing.

Ordered a used one from eBay and it only has 1 plug. Mine has 2!

The ad said is220d and is250 but clearly my model has some higher specs... Or something

How do I fix this? I can't find another one online. This is the matching colour and model numbers on the bottom were the same..

Can anyone advise please?

Thank you

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

Does one of the plugs fit your existing mirror wiring socket?

You may be able to make one from the 2 by swopping parts over but be very careful removing the glass ( if you need help to do this please ask).

From what I can see there should only be one plug, what is the part number stamped on the mirrors?
