Voice control

When I press voice control I get the message speak after the beep, but threes no beep? 

The phone control works ok🤔

Sat in mine now, it beeps, I then tried saying "call....." And it went to the phonebook. I woukd imagine its hopeless based on the nav.

I tried it a couple of times in my IS-F, but then gave it up. The RC-F seems much better, though nowhere near perfect. Maybe the LC-F will get it right?

Was voice an added extra on the RC-F? Couldnt get it to work when I tried it.
IS-F has always worked fine. Its mostly for navigation though. With one or two climate/radio control options. Mostly easier to use the dedicated buttons!

Its standard on the RC-F, or at least it was on the early cars. Lexus seem to be making things that used to be standard features into pay-extra option, so who knows what the 2017 MY ones are like

this is not good of Lexus - I tried this feature in my 04 LS430 and it does work but only a few phrases like air conditioner but you have to speak loud and clearly.

Im thinking if it didn't work very well in 2004 then Lexus should of improved on it by now!
