LS400 radio replacement against other original radio

Hi,

First, I have to thank you for great forum!

I have owned LS400, lhd, build date 03/1992 for few weeks now and would like to replace my aftermarket radio against original. Original radio has been Pioneer 86120-50101 which I don't have. In trunk I have cd-changer 86270-50010. There are lot of different types of radios for sale but unfortunately not with my part numbers. Can someone help me if I can buy some other Pioneer for example from same age rhd-car (mirrored outlook) or what about radio from lets say 1993 US model?

I posted a thread on a Tape deck problem.

I have a replacement Pioneer Original Radio that I was going to mess around with, but have decided life is just too short.

It came from a 1993 car and is No. 86120-50121  KEH-M9751ZT.  Not sure of mnfr date?

If you were located in the UK I'd be happy to send it to you - no obligation unless it works.

I see you are non UK and so the cost would need be met by yourself and depends on your location etc.

I wasn't told if it works, and secondly if it has a security code stored in it - something to consider!

My own car didn't have a code and I suspect many didn't but..........?

It would fit, and I imagine its the same model as the earlier car, connecting to a CD changer in the Boot.
