Disable Front Airbag IS 350

Recommended Posts

How do I disable the passenger front air bag on my Lexus ISC 350?    Still waiting for new air bag and I'm concerned about taking a passenger with me.    Thanks

Is there a control switch on the passenger end of the dashboard, visible once you open the door?

You'll often need to insert your ignition key to enable/disable that particular airbag.

Let us know how you get on.

That is so wrong on so many levels that people have to disable their airbags, because are afraid to be treated with doze of shrapnel from airbag...

Agreed this is wrong i think I'm right in saying these faulty airbags will sill save more lives than the risk. So i believe the advice should be to leave it on. I'm not saying the issue isn't serious i strongly believe it is but think the benefits of having the bag outweigh the risk.

On another note welcome to the forum but this topic would be better placed I  the model specific questions you'll receive more feedback. Thanks
