This seemed like a milestone, so I thought I should share it.

At my 7,000 miles a year I'm not sure I'll make it to 222,222.

Very good indeed Jon. CONGRATULATIONS.

Did you mean, YOU or the LEXUS or BOTH, NOT ACHIEVING 222,000 ?  :):):)

Good question. The car will get past 200k I have no doubt. I will be in my mid to late 70s (all being well, taking nothing for granted), so maybe we will both get there.

Nice thought!

I have not long passed 222,222 in my 1997 LS400 - current is mileage is not much over 223,000. It had 211,000 on the clock, or should I say on the digital display, when I bought it about three years ago, so most of the mileage is down to previous owners. The engine runs very nicely and it feels as though it could go on for another 222,222. Perhaps it will, although probably not under my  ownership ...

I may just be able to clock up 100,000 miles in my 1994 LS when it is 25 years old so averaging 4000 a year since new.

Got to this number in the Jeep Liberty (Cherokee in the U.K.) back in 2010.

      Hi there Lexus Owners,

I am looking to buy a Lexus IS300H, but my budget only allows me to purchase one with a quite high mileage (80K-100K). I heard that these cars are extremely reliable, but still i am a bit concerned abot the high mileage. I own a Lexus IS250 and i am quite happy with the car but i got to the point where i have to try to  save money on fuel and tax. I am looking for a Luxury version or a high mileage Sport. Please anyone who has a high mileage IS300H share your experiences to help me decide. THX!!

      Hi all,
Still deciding between the IS250 and a 325I however I have a potential IS250 that I may be interested in. It has all the features I want - fully loaded SE model - however it has done 123K miles.. full service history though - is it worth buying? Or is this too high mileage? What price should I be looking at for it? Its a 2006 auto

      Thanks

      Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a Lexus IS250 Auto. I've been looking online and the tech specification show the following MPG:
      Urban 22.2 mpg
      Extra Urban 40.4 mpg
      Average 31.0 mpg
Is anyone getting anywhere near these figures. I know normally they are not very accurate and I do a lot of mileage so need to check!
Also I wanted to get the car LPG converted, but contacted a few companies and they said they can't as it s a direct injection system. Has anyone manage to get it done?
      Thanks
