hi all,

Just wanted to say hi to everyone.

Just picked up a new to me, 2007 GS300.

Sold a Nissan Juke diesel,so hoping the mpg doesn't scare me to much.

Hoping to get involved with forums, and looking forward to some wafting!

thanks

Tim

Welcome to the forum Timothy.

Your GS looks great and I'm sure it'll be an improvement over the Juke.  The mpg might be lower but all things considered I know where I'd rather sit :wink3:

May I ask what drew you to this particular GS?

hi Farqui,

it's def a nicer place to be.

My misses has a rx400h and it's such a reliable car for us, a Lexus was the perfect choice.

I looked at 200, but really wanted something big and comfy, as i travel 30miles to work, and the gs300 seemed the right choice.

this one just had the low mileage i was hoping for, and at a sensible price

Hello and Welcome to the forum!

Lovely bit of kit, yes it will drink fuel compared to a diesel Juke but its worth it and if you put it into reality unless you are doing millions of miles a year we are only taking hundreds of pounds a year nothing in comparison to potential repair costs on a diesel Juke!

If you have any intentions of completing any maintenance, modification or just general enthusiast type jobs on the Lexus now seems like the ideal time to start a thread on the Brand New build thread section to share you ideals and photos and hopefully get a few ideas and tips along the way.

Hi Timothy and welcome to the LOC. We are a friendly bunch so please don’t hold back asking questions big or small should you have any problems with your car. We always welcome ideas on how to overcome problems with our cars but as they are the finest cars in the universe they don’t go wrong that often.

We always love to see pictures of your cars inside and out so don't be shy.

Happy Lexus Motoring.

Mike.

thanks guys, nice to meet you all.

hopefully the questions i ask won't be to silly.

although i did have to use the manual to find the hidden head rest button on the drivers side.

will have a nose at the build sections, did see an interesting thread on audio, but that might be a little out of my league.
