A cracking thread - but lets not get too excited lads.

Here is my 2p worth! I WISH I could find fuel in my area at £1.10 a litre. I NEVER buy Shell if I can avoid it. Tried it a couple of times in the past and my car ran terribly!

John, Have you converted your 450h to LPG?

It is all about experience, belief, science and most of all MAGIC!

Hi John,

what fuel additive would you recommend?

If there is a Shell not too far away, we take their V-Power. Tank in the CT is small so difference in price cannot be big. Most brands are OK, I think. Only the Shell smells like in the good old days (terrible) so that is what I prefer.

1 L cost 1.07€

Here in the UK we would love to pay 98 pence a litre 🤑

2021 isn't finished according to my calendar here on Earth. Perhaps not the same on your planet. Furthermore, you just switched from turnover/revenue to P&L, for some reason, which are not the same. While this is false equivalence and therefore merely an informal fallacy, it certainly does sour your milk and serves to render your argument invalid.

With this sort of expert negotiation on display you'd best be on guard, lest you suddenly find yourself appointed a UK trade envoy.

Ah, the delights of reading the misguided thoughts of someone who needs more schooling in Aristotilian logic particularly syllogisms😎. Even a cursory look will inform you of the most recent figures ie including 2021 for both firms. I don't recall anyone mentioning a calendar/accounting year do you? And I don't recall switching anything 🤔I. I merely pointed out if you were negotiating with two companies, of which one was showing a significant loss who do you think has the weakest position? Bear in mind that this line of comment originally started out by essentially saying how can Costco, a shopkeeper, possibly have a technically equivalent offering to a specialist like Shell? The complete irony here is, as Costco seeks to widen it's automotive product offerings, witness, oil fuel, tyres batteries etc Shell on the other hand are showing a headlong rush towards non fossil fuels. I for one, have both gas and electricity from them.
