Yes it does seem to be a nice one,but the usual advisory on the rear  shocks and i'm not sure if the cam belt has been changed as yet

I asked them if i were to get the shocks and service plus cambelt done at Lexus would they reduce the price by  a thousand but they said that they would do it,but not the cambelt and only one shock.

The price seems high to me as there are many later GS450H vehicles with lower millage on the market with better performance, fuel consumption, cheaper road tax, and lower prices with no cam belt to worry about. Unless of course you really want a V8.

I think some would see the 430 as superior to the 450h. Especially at that age where you can't get a Lexus warranty.

It actually a lot harder to find the right GS450H than you think, most of the better specced ones are all 2006-early 2007 after that sunroofs, cooled seats, adaptive cruise all became optional.

And every time i find one that matches my colour combination you find the full history advertised actually isn't and there's no Hybrid health check certificate and the last service was 2 years ago.

Plus i've never had a V8 and wouldn't mind one.

The better half wants the IS 250c which are just as elusive  so it just depends what turns up first.

Seems a bit highly priced for year and mileage but then again it's a dealer so there might be some wiggle room.

If you do go to view one make sure you check the inner sides of the exhaust back boxes and the v-section as these are prone to rust.

Hope you find a nice one, they are lovely cars, I absolutely love mine.

Well decided to give that one a miss as its on budget tyres and cam belt has apparently been done but with no invoice to prove this, add to the fact the rear shocks are on an advisory and its looking very expensive.

I've been looking for a 430/460 for ages. Not seen a single 460 for sale and all the 430 weren't up to my (probably too high) standard. In the end the car I was p/x'ing was needing some work so had to get rid before it started costing so I went for a GS300 instead.  Must say I'm very pleasantly surprised. After test driving many 430's the 300 is not far behind performance wise. Unless you regularly use full throttle there is no difference. You still get a great sound and the  full waft experience. From the ones I saw they were better cared for with shall we say more mature owners :wink3: and generally about a grand cheaper. The 2008 onwards have the full electronic suspension of the 430 too. Plus you get a genuine 5 mpg more and no cambelt to change. Mine was a 2008, one owner, 70k miles, fully stamped up Lexus main dealer servicing for £6k and I've just put it on a Lexus 2 year warranty.

Yes i noticed its still there,it was advertised on there website recently as 'Ordered' but has since gone back up for sale.they have only dropped the price £500 since i first saw it in september. So my initial offer at the time was a good one and they should have took it.It is a great looking GS430 with the spider wheels and colour combo but as i said before it is going to need a grand spent on it.£5000 would be a fair price IMO.
