LS430 Roof Bars

Back in 2010 I see Mike Sands posted about roof bars he'd bought to carry his canoe, I now need something similar as I plan on buying a canoe, IF I can carry it on my Lexus.

A search on EB didn't reveal anything, so I'm wondering if any club members have solved this Roof Rack problem.

There will be no reply's on this one.  It seems it's not the done thing!!! As i found out, I'd love to put all manner of things on my roof but no such luck.  How about tow bar and trailer?

I fear your right, but at the same time, a trailer is overkill and brings with it a host of problems, cheers.

How about inflatable roof racks?

We used them for a couple of hang gliders on hire cars in Spain. Weight about 60kg.

You might have to improvise something with the cradles.

I found nobody doing bars for Lexus. I had to buy from Lexus for a ls400 (still have them ) and my present ls430. The 430 bars are a p i t .. to fit compared to the 400.
