Lovely car Eamonn.  I had an 09 model prior to my RX.  Same colour as yours but with ivory interior.....loved the car and had some lovely days out in west Wales.  Didn't do my poorly back any good, hence the RX.

Yes Steve yours was a great looking car,we always like to have a convertible in the household but the mrs doesn't like rag tops and the SLK was lovely but too kart like for her so the IS been more comfortable and having four seats suits our needs better.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.

One problem we have is we noticed the indicator glass on the drivers side mirror is broken and we were wandering if any of you knowledgeable people can tell us if this can be purchased on its own?

Cheers.

Yes, and its easy to replace....here's a link to a guide I diid after replacing mine.

The part number number you require is  81730-53020.

Great colour scheme on your car by the way!

Beautiful...

Generally, not big fan of two tone interiour, but this one seems an exception - really suits the car. Knowing how reliable IS250 is, I believe it is great choice... especially as second car besides RX.

Congratulations on your choice , ( I'm biased ) as I have the 2011 SEL version ! I also like the two tone interior ,as mine is black and seems a little  dark if the roof is up .These cars are great long distance tourers , for our last 2 summer holidays we have gone touring round France ,smooth ,silent and the fuel consumption is very good for a v6 . I think the roof takes up a lot of boot space but as there are now only 2 of us we can cope ;  Go topless whenever possible:smile:

Linas is correct I believe it is Cadoxton slate.

Does anyone know if they do an original rubber boot liner for the Is250c.?  also a bumper protector, because I can’t find them anywhere.

Try this for a bumper protector

They did make them but getting hold of one would be quite difficult now that its been discontinued and is also quite a rare vehicle. Not sure about the bumper protector though, never seen an IS250C with one.

The bumper is a different shape to the standard IS250 as well so bumper protectors for those wouldnt work.

An alternative would be to see a PPF specialist who may be able to cut down to size and fit.

I haven’t seen one either rayaans,I think as you suggest I would have to get one made bespoke.

I have seen a boot liner but it was carpet rather than rubber.I suppose I could buy a large universal one and cut to size but I do prefer original products.

Well thanks to Paul and the wing mirror indicator repair Link,i managed to do the job yesterday, the only thing i would add is in my case anyway i had to give the glass unit quite a tug to release from the housing and it did take a few attempts as i was worried about breaking the glass.Once that was off though all instructions were clear,Also took the opportunity to give it all a good clean.

Good to hear you got it sorted so quickly Eamonn, took me a while to get around to doing it, partly due to the damage not being that noticable - and partly due to building up the bottle to tackle that bit where you pull the mirror off!! The guide's been amended accordingly
