Battery Maintenance

The best to get is something called an airflow Battery conditioner. You can get it from Demon Tweeks. It plugs to the mains and the car Battery and tops up the Battery as and when it calls for it.

It is safe and does not "overcharge" the Battery or degrade its condition. They cost about £40. A pal of mine uses one on his E Type which he only drives on high days and holidays. The Battery is always top notch when he needs the car.

Thanks guys, I'll give the guys at Demon a call, hopefully this will save my baby from having a flat Battery when I return from abroad. I had looked at the bike ones before but they hadn't enough grunt to deal with the Battery power requirements of the IS.

Nice one

Andy
