Doh!! I was on the phone to Martin last week (Jap Performance, and mentioned a few things coming up soon to add to the Club Scene events etc. and totally forgot to mention this..... who runs this - ring Martin - he is a nice chap and will list this in the Mag - Jap Performance is a quality mag too.....

I have had many of the mags ring me wanting to do a feature but I have turned most of them down as they were the laddish mags that are not really car mags..... when I got the call from Jap Performance though - different matter..... about the best one IMO.

This links very nicely with the setting up of the first meet in the UK. We need to get many more members attracted to the web-site, so they can come to the meet. Hence we need more publicity to attract more members.

To be honest - I would recommend a phone call, email can be impersonal and it can be beneficial to build a good relationship from the start by personally introducing yourself and letting him know a little about Team Lexus.

If we decide a date and venue for the meeting - he will put it in the Events diary. Also he will put the website url in 'Club Scene' as they do have a directory for clubs and there is nothing in for the Lexus.

He may be interested in coming to the meet, but only if there is sufficient numbers or something different that would be of interest - if one of the attending cars is rather special - he may come and do a feature....... you can tell him that you've been chatting with Sammy of Honda-R

Steve- I've just spent 30 mins on the www.lexusfans.com website directing queeries to our site. They have a links page where we could advertise teamlexus, but it may need someone in charge to OK this.:smug:
