1999 Is Cd Navigation Monitor

Recommended Posts

If you switch on the headlights the backlight of the navi monitor will dim.

In which cord should I bring in a switch to prevent it from dimming?

What about our friends from skandinavia? They have to drive with headlights turned on the whole day. How do they disable the dim-feature?

If you don't understand what I mean I'm sorry. I'm mumbling sometimes/often. :crying:

:D

No, nothing. It's the newest Navi-CDROM (2003).

I am only able to switch between day and night (inverted map).

I want the screen to be as bright as possible if I switch on my headlights. Now it darkens (?) if i switch them on.

My current one is the DVD rom on a 2003 plate. It does auto dim to night setting when the lights are on and it goes darker i.e. in a tunnel or when it is night, not dusk/dawn. Perhaps it is connected to the auto light sensor on the dash?

Just been and checked!

If it is the DVD system with the controls built in, not the removable remote:

1: Press "DISP"

Sub screen appears

2: Press "Day Mode"

Goes back to day mode even with lights on, sorted! :winky:

If it is teh older CD Romit can be done, but I can't remember how, but it defo can.
