Okay... whats the purpose.? to reduce panel vibration or lower external noise?

If its reduce panel resonance - Dynamat.

If its to reduce road noise - sound insulation.

Dynamat does reduced road noise, but not by much, unless you double layer everywhere!!!!!

It's for sound insulation from outside noise...

- but isn't Dynamat sound insulation material anyway?

- Surely it works both ways, i.e. deadening both internal & external noise?
