if you modify your car say; bodykit, exhaust or alloys and do not tell your insurer, what will happen if yor have an accident. Will you simple, not be insured and have to pay for the damage yourself or worse? :crybaby:

any opinions welcome

The worse that could happen is ;

They can say that your insurance policy was void, as you did not declare your modifications, therefore leaving you with no insurance .........

and if this comes to light after you have an accident, you can be reported for not having any insurance.

6 points .............. £500 fine ..... is the usual penalty.

what do you think?

Insurers are not in the business of insuring, they are in the business of making money.

Any excuse to not pay out will be taken, and increasing your cars performance or desirability(in a theft sense) without declaring will invalidate. Full stop.

But then, you don`t plan on crashing your car do you? :duh: :winky:
