Help! Fitting Helix Clutch

mate did you put the gear stick back the right way it slighly angles to the left if i remember right but it will go in both ways

other sugestion bleed the clutch i had to bleed mine

Daza could that be it mate, I can get 1,2,3 ,4 most of the time, no 5th and i can get 6th

so do you think it could need bleeding ;)

hi mate, so how do i do this then............as you have done it before :winky:

bleed nipple is the right hand side of the box underneath some one correct me if its on the left

get someone to sit in the car push the peddle down undo the nipple let the fluid out close the nipple then let the peddle rise make sure the peddle stays down why nipple is open or you will get air in the system

repeat about 10 times then pump peddle see how it feels remember to keep an eye on the fluid

sure mat could add some info to this

clutch bleeding was in the workshop - i did loads of pics for it

"UPDATE"

Hi guys, as you know i ****** my gearbox up when i fitted the Helix clutch, i went over and over what i did that day............well its like this when i went to refill the gearbox with oil i undone this nut thinking that it was the right one, but when i was undoing it " i was thinking this can not be it as it was takeing to long to undo" but any way i did undo it, but as soon as i got it undone i new it was not the right one,,,,,,,,so i did it up but as i was doing it up something come off the end inside the gearbox "ie" thats 5th gear gone ;) I was a bit ****** as it was santa pod the next day......

so as soon as i got back from the Pod on the sunday..........i PM Dave at Prolex.....and i was lucky as he had a 2nd hand gearbox for sale :D and it had only done 20,000 miles

so this weekend i get the gearbox off dave, and today i went round my mates to fit it............. :D

well i did not think i would be saying this but i am so Happy i **** my old gearbox up, as this new one is 100 times better than my old one, .............i can see now why i seemed to be so slow from standing starts .......... with this new gearbox the car just flys :D Big Thanks to Dave and (Prolex-uk)
