Hello there,

I have a 2002 SC430 and it now needs a service, timing belt and MOT.
Does anyone know of a good independent in the Cheltenham/Gloucester
area?

Many thanks

Shaun

Hi All

I've just purchased my first Lexus today its a 2005 IS250 SE. I LOVE IT!!

Just wondering if anyone can advise what I should do regarding the timing belt change? Its done 61k and has a full Lexus history, last service was at 56k and just has a basic oil and filter done when I bought it today. Leus are saying it should be changed on next service ie in about 3 month which makes it 10 yrs old then ( or they said at 100k which its obviously a long way off).

Does it need doing this soon? Ive read so many articles saying don't bother, as long as regular oil changes the timing belt will be fine but would like some advice please.

Also, anything else I should be looking for/checking etc?

Many thanks
